Frequently Asked Questions

How much sodium does UP&RUN have?
Each adult sachet contains 1000mg sodium, 200mg potassium, and 60mg magnesium. Built for high-sweat training in Indian heat.

Why so much sodium?
Indian climate plus serious training equals heavy sweat losses. Sweat sodium ranges from 400 to 2000mg per litre. Most sports drinks underdose. UP&RUN doesn't.

Is UP&RUN safe for daily use?
If you train, sweat, or work outdoors, daily use is fine. If you're sedentary all day, you don't need this much sodium. UP&RUN is built for people who move.

Does UP&RUN contain sugar?
No. UP&RUN is sweetened with stevia leaf extract. Zero sugar, zero artificial sweeteners.

How do I use UP&RUN?
Mix one sachet with 500ml to 1000ml of water. Start at 750ml and adjust based on your salt preference.

Is UP&RUN vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. UP&RUN is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and paleo/keto friendly.

Where is UP&RUN made?
UP&RUN is made in India and third-party lab tested.

Can I drink UP&RUN if I have high blood pressure?
1000mg of sodium per serving is high. If you have high blood pressure, kidney issues, or are on a low-sodium diet, talk to your doctor before using.

Most hydration products look similar until you turn them around. UP&RUN Advance delivers 1000mg Sodium, 200mg Potassium, and 60mg Magnesium with less than 1 calorie per serving, making it one of the lowest-calorie hydration formulas available. We openly declare every ingredient, including anti-caking agents that help keep high-electrolyte powders stable in India’s hot and humid climate. Rather than hiding functional ingredients behind marketing claims, we choose complete transparency. Compare the nutrition facts, ingredient list, and transparency. That’s where the real difference lies.

What is UP&RUN Advance and who is it for?

It is a zero-sugar electrolyte sachet that replaces what you lose in sweat: sodium, potassium and magnesium. It is built for active adults who sweat: running, cycling, gym, sport, outdoor work, or just training hard in Indian heat. It is not a daily wellness drink for sedentary people, and it is not for children.

Why is the Sodium at 1000mg, and is that safe?

Because sweat is salty, and sodium is by far the biggest electrolyte you lose, in much larger amounts than potassium or magnesium. If you are sweating heavily, replacing roughly a gram of sodium is sensible, not extreme. The point that matters: Advance is built for people actively losing sodium through sweat, not for someone sitting still all day. Used the way it is meant to be used, that sodium is going towards what your body has already shed.

Will it raise my blood pressure?

The blood pressure concern around salt applies to chronically high intake in inactive people, which is a different situation to an active person replacing sweat losses around exercise. For most active adults, one sachet used around activity is not that. That said, if you have high blood pressure, kidney issues, or you are on a sodium-restricted diet, check with your doctor before using it. We would rather you ask than guess.

How is it different from ORS or a Sports Drink?

ORS is designed to treat dehydration from illness like diarrhoea, with a specific sugar-to-salt ratio for that job. Most mainstream sports drinks are mostly sugar water with barely any electrolytes. Advance is the opposite: high, meaningful electrolyte content with zero sugar, sweetened only with stevia. You get the salts without the sugar load.

There is no sugar. Does it still hydrate?

Yes. Sodium is what helps your body hold on to the water you drink, so an electrolyte with no sugar still does the hydration job. Sugar can speed water absorption in clinical rehydration, which is why ORS contains it, but for everyday sweat replacement, sodium is the key driver and you do not need sugar to hydrate well. If you need carbohydrate fuel for long endurance sessions, that is a different product. Advance is hydration, done clean.
